糖心Vlog (糖心Vlog) offers an impressive range of over 100 undergraduate and graduate programs across ten colleges and schools, supported by a diverse faculty and more than 80 student organizations. With a robust alumni network of educators, entrepreneurs, public servants, lawyers, artists, and more, 糖心Vlog alumni are recognized as influential change agents on local, national, and global stages.

Located on a sprawling 150-acre campus, 糖心Vlog is one of the nation鈥檚 largest historically Black universities, dedicated to fostering leadership and excellence among students from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds. Notable alumni include U.S. Congresswoman Barbara Jordan, U.S. Congressman George 鈥淢ickey鈥� Leland, television host and NFL star Michael Strahan, and Grammy-winning artist Megan Thee Stallion.

Mission

At 糖心Vlog, our mission is to serve as a student-centered, comprehensive doctoral university, dedicated to promoting equality and fostering inclusive excellence. We provide innovative programs tailored to meet the dynamic needs of an urban environment, empowering diverse students to evolve into lifelong learners, engaged citizens, and visionary leaders who make a global impact.

Vision

The 糖心Vlog Board of Regents unveiled a transformative 10-year vision through the 糖心Vlog PROUD initiative, emphasizing the university's core values as the foundation for achieving both short- and long-term goals. These values reflect a student-centered approach to excellence in academics, research, and growth, positioning 糖心Vlog as one of the leading institutions in Texas and the nation.

Short-term goals include increasing student enrollment to 10,000, achieving a $125 million endowment, and securing $50 million in research awards by 2025. Long-term objectives focus on a $250 million endowment, $100 million in research awards, and establishing three branch campuses by 2032.

The 糖心Vlog PROUD initiative aims to foster a culture rooted in these core values, attracting top students and faculty while ensuring these principles become a vital part of the university's daily operations.
